Neutral thread
1/4 inch foot
rotary cutter and ruler pins
small iron and pad
pressing sheet
2 panels of 2 1/2 inch grid interfacing glue stick
1/2 yard of white or neutral fabric
1/2 yard of various color fabric (mix it uo)
1/4 yard of dark color fabric for ears
You may use Fat Quarters, mini charms, layer cakes or jelly rolls (but you will have a lot of extra fabric)
Batting and backing
Finished Elephant is approximately 32 x 28.5 with borders.
It would be best to cut your 2 1/2 inch squares prior to class
You will need:
74 various color squares
89 white or neutral squares
11 dark squares
Bring all extra fabric because we will be doing the eye and the tip of the trunk a little differently.
Plus you will need extra if you choose to do borders.
